We serve typically Tuscan food, made with genuine ingredients, according to the recipes and habits of the traditional Florentine family, with some contributions from international and Italian regional cooking.
For breakfast we prepare a buffet with Tuscan bread, bread rolls, sliced bread with tomato, a simple homemade yogurt cake, brioches, fruit, boiled eggs (or, on demand, eggs cooked in different ways), corn flakes, muesli, yogurt, fruit juices, cheese, sliced ham and salami.
At lunch time our restaurant is closed
Appetizers are prepared using fresh, seasonal and regional ingredients. In the summer are served on the terrace.

A choice of pasta or soup as first course. All our soups are made with fresh ingredients, never preserved. According to the season we prepare ribollita, pappa al pomodoro, julienne, soups made from tomato, celery, zucchini, spinach, yellow pumpkin, or potatoes, legume soups, barley and spelt soup, bean soup, chickpea soup.
The pasta is prepared in different ways depending on the season: pasta with tomato sauce or seasoned with fresh herbs, pasta carbonara, pasta carrettiera or arrabbiata (spices with bacon), homemade pesto with basil and pine nuts, pasta with tomato and eggplant, pasta with zucchini, pasta with sausage and red chicory, pasta with artichokes, pasta with tomato and rucola, pasta with Gorgonzola cheese, pasta with cauliflower, pasta with greens and with cream of saffron, etc. Almost every Sunday we prepare lasagna with meat sauce or with vegetables.
Our second course always consists of various meats: beef, pork or poultry: roast-beef, beef stew, pork cooked with milk or roasted, grilled pork chops, veal scaloppini cooked in white wine, and roast turkey or braised turkey with onions; sometimes in summer we serve grilled kabobs. On Friday we serve fillet fish fried or sauté.
Two cooked vegetables always accompany the main course. Fresh green salad, mixed salad or tomato salad is also served. We are devoted to the preparation of vegetables, which are delivered fresh every day and we prefer vegetables of the season. Beets, turnips, spinach, carrots, zucchini prepared truffled and sautéed, eggplant served parmigiana, fried, grilled, fried mixed vegetables, tomatoes and peppers sautéd, potatoes, green beans, and chick-peas.
For dessert we offer a selection of seasonal fresh fruit.
Two types of cheese are served: Gorgonzola and pecorino from Pienza.
Home made desserts are prepared fresh daily according to the season we offer fresh fruit tarts or tarts with homemade jams and marmalade, chocolate cakes, babà with zabaione, zuccotto, apple strudel and strudel with seasonal fruit, panna cotta, schiacciata fiorentina, Bavarian cream, apple torte, crème caramel, rice pudding and meringue.
During the summer we serve dinner also outside, in the terrace
In 2018 our restaurant will be closed.
